What to bring to class

  • Notebook – needed every class - We will recor responses and glue activity pages here.
  • Workbook – We may read or review pages of pictures in class occasionally. (This will primarily be used for Enrichment Tasks at home). Bring this unless otherwise stated.
  • A water bottle marked with student’s name (if you wish) – no food, please!
  • I will provide pencils and art supplies.

Ways you can encourage your child’s faith growth at home:

  • Ask what his / her favorite part of class was, and share your experiences with that topic.
  • Discuss the Enrichment Tasks as a family and answer any questions your child has.
  • Make prayer a part of his / her life, which includes informal prayers and sitting silently listening to what God has to say.
  • Infuse your holidays with Catholic traditions, & have fun with them!
  • Enjoy Mass together – point out the colors, objects, rituals, and encourage participation in the responses. Remind him / her that they are an important member of the Church, and Jesus loves when they visit!

Thank you for all you are doing to raise your child in the faith!
