Grade 8 - Confirmation PREP Classes are held WEDNESDAY EVENINGS from 6-7:30 PM

in the Parish Center Meeting Room.


Weather or other emergency cancellations of PREP will be announced on WFMZ.


Our Parish Religious Education Program provides for the religious education of children who attend our local public schools. This program assists parents by providing an opportunity for their children to learn their Catholic Faith and to understand the love God has for them.   • Sunday, February 23rd - Regular Class followed by the Mardi Gras Mission Sunday Carnival!

    • Students should go directly to the classrooms upon arrival.

    • Parents/Guardians/Families are invited to join their child(ren) in the Parish Center starting at 10:45 AM for the Mission Sunday Mardi Gras Carnival!

    • PREP Dismissal will be in the Parish Center at 11:00 AM. You are welcome to stay at the Carnival as a family following PREP. We ask that each PREP student check in with their teacher before leaving.

    • Each PREP student will be given 5 free tickets to play games or purchase food, courtesy of Fr. Buckley. Additional tickets will be available for purchase at $0.50 each (all games are 1 ticket, some food items are 2 tickets).

    • What is the Mardi Gras Mission Sunday Carnival? This annual event, hosted by our parish High School Teen Group, features games of chance, fun prizes, Lenten activities, donuts and favorite carnival foods. All proceeds from the event go to our parish St. Vincent de Paul Society, which helps those in our parish and greater community who are in need of material assistance. This event has been a PREP tradition for several years, but became a community-wide celebration a few years ago when the High School Teen Group took on the event. The event is open to the public from 11AM-12:30PM. Please spread the word! If you have any questions or concerns about the event, please contact Janessa O’Donnell at

  • Ash Wednesday - February 26th - ALL PREP STUDENTS, Grades 1-8, are expected to attend the 7:00PM Mass. Attendance will be taken; please see the teachers in the back of church to sign in. Students may sit with their families. Questions/concerns can be directed to Mrs. Lanning at the number/email listed above.

  • Confessions & Stations of the Cross - Grades 4-7 - All PREP students in Grades 4-7 will be going to Confessions followed by attendance at Stations of the Cross on specific Friday evenings during Lent. This will count as a class and attendance will be taken.

    • Gr. 4 - March 6th    Gr. 5 - March 13th    Gr. 6 - March 20th    Gr. 7 - March 27th

  • Remaining PREP Regular Classes: February 6, 9, 16 & 23; March 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29; April 19 & 26; May 3 (final class).

  • Saturday, March 14th - Our Gr. 2 parishioners will receive the Sacrament of First Reconciliation at 10:00 AM. Please remember them in your prayers!

  • Tuesday, March 23rd - Our 8th Grade parishioners will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation at 4:30PM. Please remember them in your prayers!

  •  Saturday, April 4th - Fr. Buckley’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt - Ages 0-13 - Held in rain, snow or sunshine! 11:00 AM in the field behind the Rectory, or in the Parish Center if inclement weather.

  • Palm Sunday - April 5th - NO CLASS

  • Easter - April 12th - NO CLASS

  • Saturday, April 25th - First Eucharist Retreat (Gr. 3) -  10AM - 1:00 PM

  • Saturday, May 2nd - First Eucharist

  • Sunday, May 3rd - Final Children’s Mass & May Crowning 9:00AM, Final PREP Session 10:00AM

Daily Mass is cancelled whenever Southern Lehigh School District and/or St. Michael the Archangel School announces either a delay or cancellation for winter weather.
