Happy Summer St. Mike's CYO! There is plenty of time to still enjoy your summer, but CYO planning for the 2026-2027 season has begun. CYO is open to all students of St. Michael the Archangel and PREP students of both St. Joseph's and Assumption BVM.  See below for summer camps still to come and registration for FALL activities!

Cheerleading Camp! The St. Mike's cheerleading team will begin its season this summer with cheer camp! You do not have to attend cheer camp to be on the team and you do not have to be on the team to attend cheer camp. The registrations are separate. Please note to be on the cheer team, you must have a full CYO registration. Cheer camp has its own charge to add to full CYO or as a stand alone activity.

1st-4th Grade August 10-11th from 9AM-12PM

5th-8th Grade August 12-13th from 9AM-2PM

LET'S TALK ABOUT FALL ACTIVITIES!!

She's back! Clare Lenhart is back to once again lead our award winning cross country program! This program is for boys and girls in kindergarten through 8th grade. Practices begin in early August, so make sure you register by the end of July to receive all the communication for the upcoming season.

Girls volleyball is primed for a strong season. We will have both a varsity and JV team for girls in grades 4-8. Practices will start in mid August. We have coaches in place for another fun year of teaching girls the basics and getting them ready to make the high school team!

Remember: CYO is a once per year registration/charge for as many programs as are offered in your age group. You want to select all the programs you may have interest in when you register in order to receive the communication. Additional programs include:

• Winter Basketball (kindergarten-8th grade girls) and (kindergarten-high school boys). We will be changing the format for 1st and 2nd grade basketball players this year to have a program more like our older teams. 
• Spring Track & Field (3rd-8th boys and girls)
• Spring Co-ed volleyball (4th-8th grade boys and girls)
• CYO Play-We are planning to once again have a full stage experience this spring with cast and crew!  This year will be for grades 3-8!!  Theater is the only activity (other than camps) with a fee of $50 in addition to full CYO membership.

If a parent or family member would like to volunteer to be a coach, assistant coach, or manager for this coming year, please reach out to me. We are always looking for help in teaching kids how to develop quality skills and sportsmanship as they grow. Retired persons, recent grads/students, and former players often have so much to share with our youth.
