Upcoming Events

October 2019 - August 2020

We have been working on a High School Teen Group schedule and hope you can join us for some - or all - of these events! Dates and times are subject to change, especially during the winter months when inclement weather comes into play. We have some events still in the works as well, so stay posted! Please feel free to share this calendar with your friends and families, including those outside of our Parish Family! The High School Teen Group is open to all high school students in grades 9 through 12 - not just St. Joe’s Parishioners or St. Mike’s alumni (for your siblings & younger friends - we will welcome the 2020 newly Confirmed 8th graders in the Springtime - keep an eye out for an invitation). As always - we will gladly sign off on service hours for any event which qualifies! We offer great opportunities to serve your community while having fun with your friends!  If you have any questions, feel free to email us

Completed Events: Forty Hours Devotion, PREPLiving Rosary, Fr. Buckley’s Annual Trick or Treat Family Party

  • We will once again be creating and selling Advent Wreaths to our Parish Family, but with a twist this year. Rather than collect order forms, we will meet to create wreaths & box them, as well as wrap candles for individual sale. We will then be selling the created wreaths and candles at our Family Movie Night, as well as before and after Masses on November 23/24.

    • We will create the wreaths using pre-formed wreath frames, faux foliage, ribbon and candles. It is FUN and EASY to do - you don’t need to be crafty!

    • Advent Wreath Assembly will take place on Sunday, November 3rd, from 12pm-2pm in the Meeting Room across from the school office. A light lunch will be provided.

    • Sales will take place at our Movie Night on 11/17, as well as in the Church before and after Masses on November 23/24.

    • Please RSVP for this event and/or sign up to help with sales by emailing us, or signing up here:

    • Volunteers will be needed to: greet families, collect donations, run the food stands, clean up afterwards.

    • Volunteers are welcome to help with crafts & letters to Santa, as well as clean up.

    • No RSVP - just show up and enjoy some time with your family! If you’re there, you can help however needed - just look for Mrs. Lanning or Mrs. O’Donnell.

  • Join us for Holy Thursday Mass (Washing of the Feet) and Church Visitations on Thursday, April 9th.

    • We are honored to be chosen once again to participate in the washing of the feet. All altar servers are expected to be in attendance for the Holy Thursday Eucharistic Procession, but you are still able to have your foot washed even if serving - just let us know in what capacity you will be joining us that evening. Teen Group will be sitting together in a pew behind the altar servers, and we will join in the procession as well.

    • After Mass, we will visit several churches throughout the Diocese. We will plan to spend 10-15 minutes at each Parish. We will then look forward to food & fellowship at a diner following our visitations. We will end the evening back at our own Parish with a Night Prayer service to close our Parish and prepare for Good Friday.

    • IMPORTANT NOTE: Each participant is responsible for their own transportation (so for most, figure a parent may be joining us). Neither Fr. Buckley nor Mrs. O'Donnell are permitted to drive attendees, nor are we permitted to arrange for your transportation with someone else. This is due to Diocesan insurance obligations.
