Welcome to Fifth Grade PREP!
Correspondence
Dear Students and Parents,
Welcome to the St. Joseph’s 5th grade PREP class! I am excited to meet you! I am looking forward to guiding you, as you continue on the journey to deepen your
relationship with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. We will gain insight into our Catholic faith and the celebration of Mass.
I have been a member of St. Joseph’s Church for the past 26 years. I am a retired elementary school teacher and a former PREP teacher here at St. Joseph’s. I am delighted
to be back
volunteering to work with our students again.
Please refer to the PREP calendar to note our in-person classes. Our on-line classes will run on Sunday mornings from 10:00-10:30. This way, families may attend 9:00am or
11:00am mass on our on-line Sundays. Following our class lesson, there will always be a short assignment to be completed independently and submitted.
I ask your assistance in several ways:
• Please make certain that you are on time for our classes and that all assignments are completed.
• Please be present and attentive during our classes. Remove any distractions that may keep you from focusing on our class.
• Please engage in our discussions and share your ideas or questions.
• Please be respectful and kind to all others.
Please be certain of my desire to educate your child in the Faith to the best of my ability. I ask that you assist me in anyway you can.
If you have any questions or concerns please email me at prepgrade5@stjoescoopersburg.org.
Thank you for your commitment to a successful year!
Mrs. Patricia Durics
